Board Recommendations
The Toronto Preservation Board recommends that:
1. City Council adopt the confidential recommendations contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (September 20, 2019) from the City Solicitor, as amended by the confidential transmittal from the Toronto Preservation Board.
2. City Council authorize the public release of the instructions in Confidential Attachment 1, as amended and Confidential Appendices A through F, attached to the report (September 20, 2019) from the City Solicitor, if adopted by City Council, with the balance of the Confidential Attachment 1 to remain confidential as it contains advice which is subject to solicitor-client privilege.

The Toronto Preservation Board recessed its public session to meet in closed session to consider this item as it relates to receiving of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege and concerns litigation or potential litigation that affects the City of Toronto.

This report will request City Council's Direction with respect to the above-noted properties in a report forthcoming from the City Solicitor to the Toronto Preservation Board meeting of September 23, 2019. The properties are subject to a development application that is under appeal at the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal ("LPAT").
This report will be made available prior to the Toronto Preservation Board Meeting scheduled for September 23, 2019.
